In this lesson, you will learn how ‘creativity groups’ can expose you to unexpected points of view, and in turn, significantly broaden your outlook. The group’s insights to creativity issues can be mind-boggling, especially when all of the members are engaged in heightening their creativity.
WORKBOOK EXERCISES:
CREATING FROM ANOTHER’S DREAM
Here’s how it works. In a group, a person tells a dream. Each member of the group jots down every detail of the dream. Then, each person tells the dream as if he or she actually dreamed it, including all associations to the dream, interpretations and commentary on what the dream means. Each time a new “dreamer” tells the dream, he or she makes it clear this is his or her dream. The initial dreamer sits back quietly and listens, taking note of anything that resonates or rings true.
